In the huge area next to the cave it is possible to park dozens of cars and campers. It allows privacy and is illuminated at night.
COSTS
The parking area for campers, cars, motorbikes is free for the first 3 days of parking. After 3 days, 5 €/day is required. During the Putignano Carnival, the cost of parking is +20 €/day.
COMFORT
The green area of the cave park is close to the city, it is really a stone's throw from the city centre of Putignano, and from its beautiful old town, which can be easily reached on foot, especially during the summer.
EASY ACCESS
SPIRAL STAIRCASE
Designed and built in the 30s by the engineer Gaetano Palmiotto, will take you on a secure vertical descent through its 45 steps, giving you the opportunity to see in one shot the majesty of the room access.
STEPS
The tourist route consists of broad steps to give you a comfortable exploration.
HANDRAIL
All steps in the tour of the cave have a handrail on which you can lean or rest comfortably. Even mature people can visit this grotto!

Our aim is to use simple and technical language at the same time. English language is essential for tourists who come from other parts of the world to learn more about the secrets of the Karst.EXCHANGE OF IDEAS
There are many caves in the world. Frequently, in the cave, we also talk about other caves that the tourist has visited during his travels. The exchange of ideas allows us to improve the cave experience.SATISFY THE VISITOR
Our aim is to accompany tourists in this experience: we are the link between the cave and tourist itself. We will make accomplices of the secrets of the cave.

All guides of “Grotta del Trullo” are experienced speleologists, with many years of practice. To make sure you can have fun, incompetent guides are not allowed!

During the tour, our guides take an interactive lesson, to secure the secrets of the caves in the tourist’s mind.
